TagSweep — Privacy Policy

What data we collect

TagSweep accesses your Shopify product data (titles, vendors, types, tags, and SKUs) solely to provide tag management functionality. We store the following in our database:

• Your Shopify store domain (to associate data with your account)
• Session tokens (for authentication)
• Job history records (operation type, summary, product count, and tag snapshots for undo)
• Usage records (monthly count of products updated)
• Auto-tag rules you create (field, operator, value, and tag)

What data we do not collect

TagSweep does not collect, store, or process any customer data, personal information, payment information, or browsing behavior. We do not use cookies for tracking.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide tag management features within the app. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. Product data is read from Shopify's API in real time and is not permanently stored, except for job snapshots needed for the undo feature (retained for 24 hours).

Data retention

Job history and usage records are retained while your app is installed. When you uninstall TagSweep, all stored data associated with your store is permanently deleted.

Data deletion requests

You can request deletion of all your data by uninstalling the app. We also process Shopify's mandatory data deletion webhooks automatically. If you need to request data deletion without uninstalling, contact us at the email below.

Third-party services

TagSweep is hosted on Railway and uses a PostgreSQL database. No other third-party services have access to your data.
